Education, skills and interests

Education

I have a bachelors degree in informatics from the University of Oslo where I focused mainly on technical subjects.

I started my masters in optimalization of a huge mathematical Python program, but found the project too huge to be able to write a thesis about it.

Some skills I picked up from UiO

  • Object oriented programming in java
  • Scripting in Python
  • Functional programming in scheme/lisp
  • Networks and Operating Systems in C
  • Mathematical programming in Python
  • Parallell programming in C, with OpenMP and MPI

Hobbies and Work skills

I've been coding a lot on the side of my studies and also been working a bit as a developer on the side, I'm a quick learner and usually grasp the essentials quite fast

  • Ruby — proficient but rusty
  • PHP — proficient
  • Wordpress — quite capable
  • HTML/CSS/JS — quite capable
  • SVG (hand-made) — proficient
  • C#/.net — very rusty
